Vitex is a tree that grows in the Mediterranean countries and Asia. The dried fruit is used for medicinal purposes, in connection with female infertility, menstrual difficulties, premenstrual syndrome, acne, fibrocystic breast disease, and menorrhagia (heavy menstruation)
